On Time And Your Dream Goal

Take a moment and think about one thing that you do not do, but you wish you started doing 5, 10, or some other number of years ago.

Think about all the things you would have learned and all the experiences you would have had in those years. And you would naturally acquire all that knowledge and expertise because you have put in the effort during an extended period of time, even though you might not see any difference on a daily basis. Small actions do not have an immediate tangible effect, but their impact adds up to incredible sizes over a period of several years.

Now take a moment and think why you do not start doing that thing you wished for today.

There are multiple and various causes you might think of to answer that question. Some of them are indeed real obstacles to starting your dream activity, while most of them are just fears and uncertainty.

However, there is a ground truth — time will pass. You can be doubtful about what to do and how to do some things. But regardless of that, those years will still pass by. Today you might be looking back 5 to 10 years ago and wonder why you didn’t start doing something as it would have been 5 to 10 years of you doing what you wanted already.

But what people often fail to realize is that years from now, we will be in the same situation we are today. If you don’t act now, you will be looking back and wondering why you didn’t do anything. Or, you can look back and be grateful that you decided to act.
